We are now accepting exhibitor applications for the The 2017 ABC ZILKER KITE FESTIVAL which will be held on Sunday, March 5th, 2017 with a rain date of Sunday, March 12, 2017.
In 2016 we had over 35,000 attendees and expect the same in 2017. As one of the city’s most beloved events we are actively curating an eclectic group of sponsors, vendors and exhibitors that reflect Austin’s unique culture. The ABC Zilker Kite Festival, co-sponsored by the City of Austin, is a gift to the Austin community but also serves as fundraiser. Fundraising at the Kite Festival is accomplished through sponsorships, exhibitors donations, concessions sales, vendor and exhibitor booth fees. Our non-profit partners and beneficiaries are Communities In Schools of Central Texas, a dropout prevention program and The Moss Pieratt Foundation a non-profit organization dedicated to funding research and promoting awareness of SUDC (sudden unexplained death in children over the age of 12 months.) All proceeds from the Kite Festival go to supporting the missions and programs of these Austin-based non-profit organizations.
